Thrilling, heartbreaking and darkly humorous by turns, our April
production of Vincent
River is a
close-up look at self-deception’s power to destroy, by acclaimed writer
Philip Ridley.
Starring Kelly Rauch
and Andres Rey
Solorzano, we're bringing this production to you:
performing in homes all
around Boston as part of our Home
Invasion program. Click here for complete information on dates, locations, directions and tickets.
Over
the last seven years, Theatre on Fire has cultivated an aesthetic of
intimate theatre: shows that are in your lap and in your face, that
cannot be ignored, and that include the audience as an active member of
the experience. With Vincent
River we are taking that idea to its
logical
conclusion: rather than producing in a traditional theatre space, we’re
performing in people’s homes. Each performance will be in
a
different house, condo or apartment, creating a truly unique,
site-specific production every night. It's the ultimate
intimate
theatre experience!
Some performances will be private, some open to the public.
In both cases, ticket quantities are extremely limited
and are only
available in
advance.
(That means no sales at the door). For the complete show
schedule, tickets and directions to the various public “venues,” please
check back soon - we're confirming locations and dates as we speak!
