Theatre on Fire seeks non-equity actors for its October 2016 production of [Title Withheld]*   Auditions will be held on Monday, August 1 and Tuesday, August 2 beginning at 7pm at the Charlestown Working Theater, 442 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown.  Callbacks will be held on Wednesday, August 3. We strongly encourage actors of all races and ethnicities to audition.




MOLLY, Female, 20s: At her best, Molly is warm, vibrant, intelligent, and kind. Unfortunately, we’re meeting her ather absolute worst.


GRAHAM, Male, 20s: A comic. Needs an off-switch. Doesn’t have one. There’s a dark edge buried somewhere.


PATRICK, Male, 30s-50s: An odd duck. Psychic powers? Suit and tie.


NATALIE, Female, late 20s-early 30s: Molly’s sister. Expressive, edgy. A cornered animal with a mean streak.

This production will be performed as part of TOF’s “Home Invasion” program in different homes in and around Boston.  Each performance will be in a different location. As such, we are looking for actors who are adaptable, quick-thinking, flexible and not precious.  Performances will be extremely intimate and up close with the audience.


Rehearsals begin in late August.  Due to the nature of the production, exact performance dates are not yet set, but will be over four weeks in the month of October. All actors will receive $250 stipends.


* (We’re withholding the title of the play because we’re not quite ready to announce it yet. Trust us, you’ve probably never heard of it, so don’t sweat it).



Molly’s sister Natalie disappeared and commited suicide one year ago...or did she? Seeking answers, Molly goes to her last known location -- a creepy apartment filled with strangely realistic mannequins. Who lives there? Did Natalie really come there? What’s with all the mannequins? As the night wears on, Molly tries to answer these questions, but the answers only raise more doubts about who she can really trust and about the question that is consuming her: what happened to Natalie?
